Geneva Rotary prides itself in making a positive difference in our local community as well as having a positive impact in the lives of others on an international level.  At our October 3, 2017 meeting we discussed the great success of our 37th Annual Run for the Grapes and members of the Rotary Club of Oberlin visited our meeting to present Jack Hopkins with a check for his travel to Africa.

Geneva Rotary Club members have been generously donating their time in an effort to make a positive difference in our Geneva Community.  On September 25, 2017 we hosted the 37th annual Geneva Rotary Run for the Grapes.  This event raised more than $5,700.00.  The money raised from this project is used by the club to support many of the service projects and activities we do in our local community.

At our meeting on October 3, 2017, Jack Hopkins received a donation from the Rotary Club of Oberlin and the Rotary District 6600 Foundation to help fund his travels to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Africa.  While he is there he is taking part in the Milk Parlour Project and delivering much needed pillow case dresses to the young girls of the region.  This project has also been generously funded through our own Geneva Rotary Club. We are grateful to have a Geneva Rotarian who is willing and able to travel internationally to bring needed supplies, as well as work to improve the quality of life for people in areas such as this.
