Ruth graciously agreed to come speak at the November 28th meeting.  She works as a project coordinator for the Ohio Wine Producers in Geneva, Ohio.  The focus of her presentation was on the many activities that the local wineries participate in throughout the calendar year.  Often people in various communities do not realize that there are numerous opportunities to enjoy the local wineries even in the winter month.  She shared information about the Tannenbaum Trail.  This is a special activity in our area which includes visiting various wineries in a day - receiving a small tree, wine samples at each winery and a small ornament from each to decorate your tree.  This is a great way to visit various wineries during the holiday season and sample their wines at a low cost.  Various activities are coordinated in different sections of Ohio to take advantage of the many great opportunity during all seasons, but especially during the holidays!
